Jim served in various United States governmental positions over a 30 year career, including Deputy Undersecretary of the Air Force, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Senior Advisor to the Vice-Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and as the Personal Representative of the Secretary of Defense.
Patrick Ennis

Patrick Ennis

Patrick has more than 25 years of experience as a scientist, engineer and venture capitalist. He is currently CTO of Xinova which is a leader in international open innovation. He also is Global Head of Technology for Intellectual Ventures where he focuses on tech commercialization. Previously Patrick was at ARCH Venture Partners where he helped build startup companies into market leaders such as Impinj. He also worked at Lucent, AT&T and Bell Labs, and conducted research in Nuclear Physics at labs in North America and Europe. He has several patents, has written articles and book chapters and is a frequent invited speaker. He has served on many corporate, educational, and non-profit boards. He has a PhD and MS in Physics from Yale, an MBA from Wharton and a BS in Math and Physics from William and Mary where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Joel Benoliel

Joel Benoliel

Joel Benoliel retired in 2014 after 22 years as Senior Vice President Administration and Chief Legal Officer at Costco Wholesale Corporation. A native of Seattle, Joel earned both his undergraduate degree in Political Science and his JD at the UW. After seven years of general law practice at the firm of MacDonald, Hoague, and Bayless in Seattle, Joel joined the Jack A. Benaroya Company as its Vice President and General Counsel in 1978, until the company was sold in 1984. From 1984 to 1992, Joel worked as a commercial real estate developer with Trammell Crow Company and later as a founding partner of Spieker Partners. In 1992, Joel joined Costco Wholesale to run both the Legal and Real Estate Development departments. He was later promoted to Senior Vice President and served on the company’s Executive Committee for 21 years, having responsibility for Compliance, Membership and Marketing, Travel, Business Delivery, and Community Relations and Charitable Giving during that time. Joel has served as a Trustee of Seattle Children’s Hospital since 2008, and has been active in many other local nonprofit organizations, primarily focused on the health and education of children. He has served as an active alumnus at the UW School of Law for decades, and currently co-chairs the Capital Campaign Committee for the Law School. Joel is married to Maureen Benoliel, a retired educator and community volunteer, who serves as a Trustee at her alma mater, Seattle University. Appointed by Governor Jay Inslee from January 5, 2016 to September 30, 2021. Awaiting Senate confirmation.
Steve Sansom

Steve Sansom

Mr. Sansom is a founder and chairman of Green Square Capital, a multi-family office asset management business founded in 2001. In addition to Green Square Capital, Mr. Sansom is a founder, principal, and member of the board of directors of Center Coast Capital a Houston Texas based asset manger focused on energy infrastructure founded in 2007. Center Coast Capital manages a publicly traded subsidiary company Center Coast MLP Infrastructure Fund (CEN) traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Sansom was an executive at Goldman Sachs & Co from 1993 to 2001 in the Investment Management Division. Prior to Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Sansom worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in New York from 1991 to 1993 in the Institutional Equity Capital Markets Division. Mr. Sansom currently serves on the board of The Lemoine Company, a commercial construction enterprise, and Presbyterian Day School. Mr. Sansom currently serves on the Executive Advisory Council of Brown Brothers Harriman Capital Partners the Brown Brothers Harriman private equity division in New York. Mr. Sansom is also a senior advisor to Orchard MB a merchant banking business. Mr. Sansom has served on numerous boards including the International Board of Directors of the Young Presidents Organization World Presidents Organization from 2013 to 2016. Mr. Sansom served as the Vice Chairman of the International Board of Directors of the Young Presidents Organization World Presidents Organization in 2016. Mr. Sansom is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization and previously served on the International education committee creating and chairing multiple global events on business strategy for private business owners and entrepreneurs. Mr. Sansom is an active member of the Chief Executives Organization. Mr. Sansom graduated from Millsaps with honors in finance and attended Harvard Business School’s Presidents executive education program and The National Defense University in Washington DC.
